Lady Gaga performance on American Idol, watched it?
Lady Gaga's performance on American Idol 2010, was deeply enjoyed by her fans, though after reports that her taped numbers on Wednesday had been snipped, the unedited version of the performance enjoyed more infamy.
WITH HER trademark over the top, grand scale style, Lady Gaga scorched the stage at American Idol on Wednesday. Lady Gaga had earlier performed in the American Idol 2009, performing her then released Poker Face. Though the performance had been taped been last week, just after Siobhan Magnus' elimination on American Idol 2010, this did not make much of a difference to her fans.
This time, Lady Gaga's performance was on a mixed version of her two songs - Alejandro and Bad Romance. She had performed at the American Idol Sinatara week on Wednesday, finishing up after the elimination.
What did make a difference were reports that it had gone under the scissors, with several portions of Lady Gaga's performance snipped away. Apparently, her performance of Bad Romance which run into 1:15 minutes had faced the cut, due to shots of her posterior and her left breast, which was blurred during a chorus of Alejandro.
While American Idol 2010 producers claimed that the cuts were due to "time constraints", the original unedited version debuted on the internet soon after with the un-edited Lady Gaga performance video put up on several websites, running far ahead of her edited performance on Idol.
Gaga had also posted links to the unedited version online, which were soon picked up by other websites. Though she has not commented on the cuts per se, she stated that the performance was dedicated to her fans, whom she refers to as Monsters.
Did you watch both the edited and the unedited versions of Lady Gaga performance on American Idol 2010? If you didn't believe that the edited one, which was aired on Wednesday, was worth sinking teeth into, you can look up the unedited one, the video of which is available on several websites, blogs and video sharing platforms.
