Lalu Prasad Yadav endorses Baba Ramdev's Patanjali brand
Former chief minister of Bihar and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav today morning met yoga guru Baba Ramdev and openly endorsed his Patanjali brand of products. Lalu said, "His products are in demand and he is doing good for the country."

Baba Ramdev today morning landed at the Delhi residence of the RJD chief on a surprise visit along with a hamper of his Patanjali brand of products.

While praising Ramdev, the RJD chief said, "People are jealous of Baba Ramdev because he is highly successful."

Baba Ramdev, in order to add a personal touch to the meeting between the two gifted Patanjali products to Lalu Prasad Yadav and even went ahead and applied his brand of gold cream on the RJD chief's face.

Lalu Prasad did not mince his words while defending Baba Ramdev and said, "Conspiracy was being done against Ramdev, if a person becomes healthy by eating bones, no harm in that."

It is notable that the former Bihar CM has taken a complete u-turn, as he had once called the yoga guru an industrialist and a capitalist.

But it now seems that Lalu Prasad Yadav has become an ardent fan of Baba's products and might even toy with the idea of becoming the face of the brand. Lalu Prasad also claimed during the meeting that he had indeed used Ramdev's products like soaps in the past, sourcing them from Patna.

Whether Baba Ramdev would be willing to make him his brand ambassador or not, though is a separate issue. But for now, the Baba sure seems to have found a new patron in the RJD chief.
