Politicians have a habit of complaining and finger pointing and this was once again portrayed by Lalu Yadav in prison, as he is said to have complained to the jail authorities on Tuesday morning about the pathetic condition of his cell, which has a fan, but no air cooler, reported Times of India. The mosquitoes and bedbugs also seem to have given the former CM sleepless night in the cell.
Initially there were a number of people who came and visited the high profiled minister, but it has been stated that the RJD chief suggested them to focus on the Lok Sabha election. This must be the reason, why there were fewer visitors on Wednesday. One of the most notable person, who visited Lalu was RJD parliamentarian Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, who also handed over a copy of Bhagavad Gita. “I have advised him to read the book. Mahatma Gandhi used to keep the Gita with him all the time. By the time Lalu is halfway through it he will be released from jail,” reported The Times of India.
Today is going to be an important day for Lalu Yadav, as it is today that the politician will be sentenced by a special CBI court via video conferencing, which may result to anywhere between four to seven years in prison.
