THE LATEST news is that Johnson has yet not signed with Cincinnati Bengals. However it is expected that he may sign with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Larry Johnson, running back is very much expected to visit the Cincinnati Bengals very soon. The Bengals are quite interested in signing him, but as a backup only. Jonhson was released by Kansas City Chiefs last week after he had criticised his coach and had written gay slurs on his Twitter page. The fans wanted the Chiefs to bench him or get rid of the star running back. He was released on the day he was due back following his second suspension in the last year.

Marvin Lewis, the coach said that Johnson would be the fourth on the team’s depth chart at running back if ever he tried to revive his troubled career in Cincinnati.

Cedric Benson couldn’t finish an 18-12 finish win on Sunday, November 15 in Pittsburgh because of a strained hip muscle. However, Lewis said that Benson might very much be available to play next week in Oakland.

Lewis said that the interest in getting Johnson on board isn’t related to Benson’s injury.
