FORMER WORLD number one and  Former Grand slam doubles champion team, Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi have reached into the semi finals of the Cincinnati Open. They reached the semi-finals of the competition via an easy route as their opponents, Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek withdrew from the quarter finals match. According to latest reports it has been said that Tomas Berdych suffered a shoulder injury.

The famous Indian duo would be facing one of the favourites for the title, Bryan brothers, Bob and Mike who put up a good show against their quarter final opponents, Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski. They won the match, 7-6(5), 7-6(3).

Bryan brothers and the Indian duo have faced several times and have come up with great matches, which have enthralled the audience. The crowd at Cincinnati would be expecting a match, which would go right down to the wire. If it is the case, the crowd at Cincinnati would be the most happiest. The Indian pair of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi has been in good form as they have also defeated the pairing of Nadal and Marc Lopez in straight sets 6-4, 6-2 earlier during the tournament.

The big serving pair of Bryan bothers from USA would be a tough nut to crack for the Indian pair, as they have been in decent form for quite some time now. Still, the Indians are very good players near the net with their impressive volley returns and Leander, especially who has got one of the best reflexes in the circuit.
