Learn to draw visual symbol of a bee on this World Bee Day
Today, the UN designated World Bee Day is being observed across the globe to create awareness about the role of bees in pollination and conversation of the ecology of a place.

Bees are though yellow and black stinging winged insects, are useful to the eco-system of a place since they collect nectar and pollen, produce wax and honey, and live in large communities as well work as great pollinators.

Learning about bees is a part of general science at middle-school level and textbooks inform that the bees as flying insects are closely related to wasps and ants that are better known for their role in pollination and honey production.

On this World Bee Day, learn to draw the visual symbol of a bee in four steps. A visual symbol is the two-dimensional line drawing in single colour to represent reality.

Proceed as follows to draw the visual symbol of a bee.

1. Draw an 8 like elongated figure.

2. Draw small curved strokes and dots on the upper part to show antennas and the eyes respectively.

3. Draw the stripes on the lower part and a sting.

4. Draw the wings on the sides of the figure to complete the visual symbol.

The school teachers can take up the activity of drawing visual symbol of a bee and create a poster by depicting a few facts and figures about bee around it.
