Left parties need a change in attitude
In the language of Left, India is under the clutches of global capital forces that are clocked in Indian style. The left claim is true, but they forget that the clutches of these agents are working every where across the country
AFTER THE 2009 General Elections, the communists and the socialists political streams are at bay. It is quite sad that even after this set back, they are least interested to amass people to fight against the burning issues in the country, in a consistent and secular way. In the language of Left, India is under the clutches of global capital forces that are clocked in Indian style. The left claim is true but they forget that the clutches of these agents are working every where across the country, even in states where the Left claims to be their strong hold.
Commercialisation of education in Kerala added by the negligence of government to sustain quality in non-commercialised sector and all creates generational havoc. But no actions are so far be seen in the political agenda of left parties in Kerala. Instead they try for all sorts of interpretations to paint their failure as the 'fault of the time'.This attitude of Left political stream is not leading them anywhere.
Left parties need to face the situations, rather than trying to interpret, redefine and reslicing according to what suits their tongue. This change in attitude is essential need of the hour. Because the newer growth pace in India is educating its citizens by itself. In an informed society, interpreted views are less appreciated.
