The shocking molestation case that took place in 1990 forced Ruchika an emerging lawn tennis player to commit suicide. Her brother Ashu was implicated in fabricated cases in order to force Ruchika and her family to settle for compromise or withdraw all cases related to molestation. Rathore according to Ruchika’s family also influenced Ruchika’s school to force Ruchika to leave the school.

Ruchika’s father Subhash Girhotra and her friend’s father Anand Prakash also met union home minister P Chidambaram to present their case and tighten legal net around Rathore, who deserves harshest punishment. No body is above the law be it an officer or leader, let us hope justice would be done in the Ruchika’s case.
