SUSPECTED LASHKAR operative David Coleman Headley, who is under investigation for allegedly plotting terror attacks against India and Denmark, had visited several Indian cities. This startling disclosure was made after the FBI arrested him in United States, along with a close associate Tawwahur Hussain Rana.

Sources revealed that Headley had made several trips to India between 2006 and 2009. During this period, he visited five Indian cities - Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Agra and Delhi.

Headley had set up a visa facilitation agency in Mumbai to carry out his clandestine operations in the state. It is now being investigated whether Headley was using this agency to recruit men for Lashkar-e-Toiba and other terror groups.

It has also been revealed that Headley had secured a multiple-entry visa after changing his name. He set up a fake agency in Tardeo area of Mumbai and his last visit to India was in April 2009. Investigators are now pouring over records to find out the details of his travel.
