Let's pray to weather god to protect India in Australia
Though it is said that results of cricket matches can't be predicted till last ball is delivered but going by the scoreboard, one feels that only special Pujas can save our team from an embarrassing loss against Australia at Sydney.

RICKY PONTING has scored his 40th century at Sydney after a gap of two years. Can master- blaster Sachin Tendulkar not emulate him and score one in the 2nd innings to complete the much awaited record of the century of centuries at Sydney?

Michael Clarke is elated at having scored his maiden double century at Sydney - India has several double century holders in its ranks.

Rahul Dravid (five – one each against Zimbabwe, England, Australia, Pakistan and New Zealand), Virender Sehwag (four – 2 each against Pakistan and Sri Lanka), and VVS Laxman (2 – both against Australia): can one of them not set his mind on repeating a similar feat at Sydney to save India from the blushes?

Or, let us all pray that the weather comes to India’s rescue. Or, better still, let special Pujas and Yagnas be held in all the metros to appease the gods because they can work miracles and a miracle is indeed necessary to bale India out of the rut.
