Life is comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel
Life is a beautiful journey that should be decorated with love, hope and unforgettable bonds rather than houses, bank balance and power.
LIFE IN the 21st century is faster than a Boeing jet, more complicated than rocket science, and more tragic than the daily soaps. It is believed that our choices determine our destiny. Few months ago I too was in the rat race of worldy desires. All I dreamt was a white collar job, luxurious cars, lavish penthouses,
world tours, designer clothes, and latest gadgets, etc. I'm pretty sure this is what people at my age desire.
But just then my heavenly father opened my eyes to see the reality of these glittering material desires. Everthing that shines is not a diamond, if you scratch that glittery cover from your eyes you will be able to see the dirt it is made from.
As soon as I realised these ugly truths I made the most meaningful choice in my life. Today, I desire for nothing except peace, happiness and empathy. Today, I have the time to get wet in the rain, today I have time to run across the green fields barefoot, today I have the time to stare at the distant sky, today I have time to cherish each and every gesture made by a shopkeeper or a close friend.
I realise that any parent can have a kid who has a huge bank balance but there are very rare parents whose kid has a heart, which is more bigger than the latter's bank balance.
In the end we all turn into dust, neither does the bank balance acompanies nor does a servant. It's a beautiful journey that should be decorated with love, hope and unforgettable bonds rather than houses, bank balance and power.
