Life rocks at 72! Its celebration time for Manoj Kumar
IIA will celebrate Manoj Kumar's 72nd birthday a little differently. IIA has planned to celebrate his 72nd birthday by organising musical tribute to Bollywood's patriotic hero. Singer Babla Mehta will pay a musical tribute.
LIFE BEGINS at 40 but rocks at 72 - this is definitely the case for Bollywood's favourite actor Manoj Kumar. Born on July 24, 1937 at Abbottabad, Manoj Kumar is a famous Indian actor and director, who is known as a patriotic hero.
Manoj Kumar, who gave hits like Upkaar, Purab Aur Paschim, Shaheed, Gumnaam and many more always entertained and enlightened people with his performances. Manoj Kumar was also noted for the hit patriotic songs like Mere Des ki Dharti from the movie Upkaar and also won a Filmfare Best Director Award.
Singer Babla Mehta known as the living voice of late Mukesh had been chosen by IIA to pay musical tribute to the multi talented Manoj Kumar as Mukesh had sung the maximum number of songs for Manoj Kumar. Babla Mehta is very excited about performing before the legend himself.
