Life: The various ups and downs 07 June, 2014
There are times when one feels like giving it up rather than trying hard. Times when you struggle through odds and are tricked by life every now and then. When every day you look forward to is just another nightmare.

No matter how many motivational quotes you read or how many novels of inspirational stories you go through but sometimes there is just nothing to make it feel better because sometimes life is supposed to be that way.

It is supposed to be that hard and cruel. It is supposed to make you feel weak and hollow. It is supposed to give you failures after failures. It does that for you. It makes you go through hell to realize the value of being in heaven. It gives you tears so that you know how precious your smile is.

It makes you go through rough roads so that you know there is a long way to go. It gives you failures, for failure means delay not defeat. It makes you feel totally unwanted and worthless. Makes you feel lost and broken.

However, what we all fail to understand is that sometimes not fixing things and being unaware of the worldly concern is the right thing to do. Clinging onto the idea that life offers promised happiness is a myth. There is no such thing like guaranteed happiness.

Slow down, for whatever you really want will be there when you get there if you work towards it without stress, without pressing. If you do not find it there, then it is not supposed to be there. If you miss it, perhaps you should have missed it. Because at the end of the day you are only a puppet who is being controlled in someone else’s story.
