HOLLYWOOD DIVA Lindsay Lohan filed a lawsuit against financial company E-Trade for $100 million for a commercial that showed a joke about a "milkaholic" named "Lindsay." Actress Lohan's lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia, filed a lawsuit on Monday on the behalf of actress Lindsay Lohan in Nassau County Supreme Court over the commercial that debuted during the Super Bowl this year.
Lohan's lawyer, said the actress has the same single-name recognition as Oprah or Madonna. Stephanie Ovadia, the actress lawyer also said that commercial was seen by millions of people during the Super Bowl final and Winter Olympics and the firm has garnered great profits. Lindsay Lohan is currently in Paris for attending fashion shows.
However, a spokesman for the company that produced the commercial has denied any connection to actress and singer Lindsey Lohan with this commercial and said the character was named after a member of the ad's account team.
Actress Lohan's lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia said, Lohan is owed $50 million in exemplary damages, plus another $50 million in compensatory damages.
