For the past one week the CPI Maoists also pasted a number of wall posters in all most all the important junctions at Bandhugaon and Narayanpatna requesting for celebrating the week long International Women's Day in both the blocks.

M.Lokanatham, a liquor vendor belonging to a particular community was brutally killed by about four CPI (Maoist) at about 10.45 am at Neelabadi under Bandhugaon block in Koraput district according to the reliable source of information.

In another devlopment in the area, Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangha, Bandhugaon has proposed to organise a meeting today at Neelabadi to take future course of action for distribution of the land to the tillers under Bandhugaon Block.

This incident has led to tension in the block head quarters at Bandhugaon while the Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangha was about to organize the meeting at Neelabadi today.

From the past one week, the CPI Maoist also pasted number of wall posters in all most all the important junctions at Bandhugaon and Narayanpatna requesting for celebrating the week long International Women’s Day in both the blocks. They also urged the people particularly women to rise their voice against consumption of liquor under both the blocks which was prevented earlier. The trade once again started under both the blocks.
