Lok Sabha Elections 2014: Final Results

There are 543 Lok Sabha seats for which elections have taken place in nine phases across the country. The ruling Congress party has fought elections on 457 Lok Sabha seats. Whereas the Congress-led UPA has fought elections on 534 Lok Sabha seats.
BJP, the party which has been predicted as the largest party by the various exit polls, has fielded its candidates on 428 Lok Sabha seats. Whereas the BJP-led NDA has contested on all the 543 seats. Aam Aadmi Party, which had surprised every one in Delhi, has fought on 430 Lok Sabha seats.
The other parties whose performances will be interesting to watch out include SP, BSP in UP; RJD, JD (U) in Bihar, TMC, CPM in W. Bengal; Shiv Sena, NCP in Maharashtra; Akali Dal in Punjab; AIDMK, DMK in Tamilnadu; TDP, TRS, YSR Congress in AP and Telangana.
