The film is not only about sex. It's about all the three emotions - love, sex and dhoka. Love Sex Aur Dhokha movie is based on the infamous 2004 DPS MMS scandal. This movies is directed by Dibakar Banerjee and Produced by Ekta Kapoor.
Love Sex aur Dhokha works through three short stories. These short movies within the film focus on contemporary India's attitude towards love and sex and its understading. In the first story, two film institute students have to complete a diploma film which ends up being a shady spoof on DDLJ .Through, the film process he falls in love with the heroine of his film with whom he elopes and gets married.
In the third film, a TV journalist is send on a sting operation by his TRP-hungry employer.he must unveil the ugly underbelly of the entertainment industry by exposing the casting couch. The entirely new cast acts as an added advantage to the narrative of the film The performance from every member of the cast is absolutely brilliant. Anshuman Jha is unassumingly hilarious. Raj Kumar Yadav is expressive. Neha Chauhan is amazing in her breakdown sequence. Amil Sial efficiently plays the straight-faced journalist. Arya Devdutta perfectly exemplifies a wannabe starlet and Herry Tangri plays a pop icon pretty well. Also the most controversial track, the song Tu nangi achi lagti hai modified on the audio CD to Tu gandi achi lagti hai has been changed in the film.
