Luger Nodar Kumaritashvili dies -watched photos, video?
The latest news is that just hours before the Olympic opening ceremony in Vancouver for the 2010 winter Olympics, a Georgian luger, Nodar Kumaritashvili was killed in a tragic accident on a training run. The video of Luger crash was posted on net.
The video of Luger crash was posted and available on the net. Many people saw the horrific accident video of Luger’s crash. Within a few minutes the video and photographs of the crash went viral but google has since pulled the video from youtube, thus blocking the embeddes videos on other sites also. The 21 year old was near the end of his practice run when something suddenly went wrong and he went airbone, hitting a steel rod. He is believed to be having a good run when he made a mistake at the last curve and hit the pole. Rescue workers started with the chest compressions for less than a minute before air lifting him to a nearby medical facility in Whistler. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash and death of Nodar had been launched. Practices on the luge track were also suspended.
