Lux Perfect Bride Rumpa Roy gets fairy tale wedding
Lux Perfect Bride winner Rumpa Roy was bedazzled when the wedding reality contestant was married off in a truly lavish style in India's first televised wedding. Rumpa Roy who had won the show on Saturday, got married to Hitesh.
REALITY WEDDING show, Lux Perfect Bride on Star Plus ensured that the first televised wedding took place between winning contestant Rumpa Roy and her beau Hitesh.
While she had the support of Parkhis Malaika Arora Khan, Shekhar Suman and and Amrita Rao, to determine what she wanted, Rumpa Roy also relaxed after meeting the not so perfect bride Rakhi Sawant, who had given a special appearence on the show. While she showed some of her famous dance moves, she had also chatted with the bride.
Rumpa Roy said, “In the past three months I have had the opportunity to meet some really nice people, I have learnt a lot from my experience of being in the Perfect Bride house. I wish every girl could get a chance to get a fairy tale wedding like mine, I truly thank the ‘parkhis’ for making me realize what’s important and lastly Star Plus for creating a show like Lux Perfect Bride and that gave me a chance to meet my husband.”
Malaika Arora Khan, a parkhi at the show said,“I wish Rumpa and Hitesh all the best, and may they live happily ever after. It has been truly a touching experience to know these girls so closely, interact and guide them so that they do not take a wrong decision with one of the most beautiful moments in life, which is one’s wedding."
The Lux Perfect Bride wedding saw many elaborate rituals and celebrations. TV celebrities like Akshara and Naitik from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and the Lux Perfect Bride team gave their blessings to the couple, wishing them with a happy married life.
