This year the awards will be presented by Jyotiraditya Raje Scindia and Sriprakash Jaiswal (Minister of state of Coal, Statistics and Programme Implementation) at the prestigious Merchant Chamber Hall, Civil Lines, Kanpur.

 

The awards are given in the following categories - Entrepreneur of the year, Best Sportsman, Outstanding performance in cinema, Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Actress Young Achiever. While Vineet Mittal, MD, Welspun Energy would be honoured as the entrepreneur of the year, the best sportsman title would be given to Harbhajan Singh. The outstanding performance in cinema would be given to Farhan Akhtar, the best actor in a Supporting Role would go to Divya Dutta and Genelia D'souza has been chosen as young achiever.

 

The winners would also address a joint press briefing chaired by UP Congress committee chairperson Pradeep Mishra and organiser Mant Madhav Rao. The UP congress committee will salute the leaders, whose relentless pursuit of excellence has fuelled India's journey to the forefront of global leadership.
