According to reports, Aishwarya demanded steep price and was ignored, senior officials of 'Dance Premier League' thought it wise to have Madhuri Dixit onboard rather than shelling out exorbitant price as asked by Aishwarya.
THE YESTERYEAR dance queen who mesmerised millions of movie goers across India with her astonishing performances on silver screen will be a judge on a reality TV show supposed to be telecast on a popular small screen to identify dancing talent in the country.
Infact sources have revealed that beauty queen former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan too was in the contention but organisers preferred Madhuri Dixit Nene as her rates for the participation were affordable. According to reports, Aishwarya demanded steep price and was ignored, senior officials linked with the show thought it wise to have Madhuri Dixit onboard rather than shelling out exorbitant price as asked by Aishwarya. This tilted the pendulum in Madhuri’s favour.
Danish Khan, a senior executive associated with the show has confirmed the selection of Madhuri for the show titled Dance Premier League; he said “We have finalised the name of Madhuri Dixit as one of the judges for judging the show Dance Premier League.” But Danish Khan refrained himself from saying anything on the rejection of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, on being grilled in depth he said of course Aishwarya Rai too was considered and we had long discussion with her regarding project, things didn’t materialise and we have to think for Madhuri.
