SHE IS living in tranquillity in United States blissfully with her medico husband Dr Sri Ram Nene and two kids, however, Madhuri Dixit, one of the foremost names in nineties will make grand comeback with an epic movie based on the life of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Mahduri will be playing iron lady Indira in the movie.

The script for the movie ‘Mother: The Indira Gandhi Story’ has been written by prominent Hollywood personality Krishna Shah. He has been associated in the past in script writing, direction and production with many giant names from both Bollywood and Hollywood. According to Shah, Indira Gandhi was a legend and it is high time to portray her on screen so that today’s generation can inspire from her inspirational and larger than life image. An extensive research was done by Krishna to compile all the prominent issues related to the life of Indira, including 1971 Indo-Pak war, emergency and operation Blue Star.

It was a challenge for Krishna Shah to write a script on Indiras’s movie. He said he had been doing research on the leader since the last twenty years. And has spoken with politicians, bureaucrats, defence personnel and others who had worked with the departed leader; books, magazines and others modes were also researched prudently to make the epic movie.
Selection of actors is still underway, apart from Madhuri, some other Bollywood biggies will also be seen in the historic movie. They comprise yesteryear he man Dharmendra, Nana Patekar and Abhey Deol. The shooting for the movie will commence in 2010 and take place in US, Russia, United Kingdom and Japan besides India; talks are on with some international stars as well.

Madhuri, one of the leading heroines of Bollybood who sizzled across all sorts of role, lets hope will do justice with the epic role-Indira Gandhi.
