Maharashtra to host conference on "Language, Literature and Culture: New Horizons"
An international conference on "Language, Literature and Culture: New Horizons" is going to be organised at M. J. College, Jalgaon (Maharashtra) on 6-7 January, 2017.

Papers will be presented on the research related to English language, culture and identity. Under the sub-theme of English languages, the topics such as its relation to media, politics, technology, ideology, communication, and gender have been included.

The other literature related topics are: English Literature - Production, Circulation and Reception; Literature and Gender; Translation and Cultural Dialectics; Postmodern Literature and Literary Theories; and Postcolonial Literature and Theory.

Besides the foregoing, the topic of 'Teaching English Language and Literature in 21st Century' will be taken up during the conference. The sessions on paper presentations (15 min), workshops (30 min) and poster presentations on topics from the conference themes will be held during the conference, informed the event organisers.

The venue college is co-partnering with the North Maharashtra University English Teachers' Association (NMUETA) and All India Network of English Teachers (AINET) for the organisation of the conference.
