Maharashtra to host national seminar on ICT In teaching-learning process
Maharashtra's Nashik Shikshan Prasarak Mandal's Late Bindu Ramrao Deshmukh Arts and Commerce Mahila Mahavidyalaya is going to organize National Seminar on "Use of ICT in Teaching Learning Process: Commerce and Management, Languages, Mental, Moral and Social Sciences" on 15th and 16th of February in collaboration with Bhartiya Shikshan Mandal (BSM) which has developed a five-dimensional agenda consisting of research, awareness, training, publishing, and organization based on team building to support education.

"Use of ICT in teaching Learning process is the essential part of education in Modern Era. It is used anytime anywhere with the greater efficiency in the education. Communication channels are increased i.e. E-Mail, Discussion groups and Chat rooms etc. Regular use of ICT across different curriculum subjects can have a beneficial motivational influence on students learning. It is also beneficial to teachers to facilitate sharing of resources expertise and advice, greater flexibility in when and where task are carried out, easier planning and preparations of lessons and designing materials, access to update students and college data. It improves the quality of education," states the concept note of the conference

The conference has three main objectives:  To create a platform to share the innovative ideas regarding use of ICT tools in various disciplines;  To apprehend the role of Information and Communication in improving teaching and learning process;  To sensitize the ICT resources.

Various thematic tracks of the conference are the  use of ICT in teaching learning process in commerce and management;  use of ICT in teaching learning process in languages;  use of ICT in teaching learning process in mental, moral and social sciences;  effective use of ICT for distance learning; the role of ICT In improving teaching and learning processes; usage of various ICT tools for evaluation and innovative; teaching tools of modern era;  use of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning;  indigenous content creation for the teaching and learning processes; Bhartiya approach for the use of ICT In teaching and learning processes; and  the role of ICT for outlining future education of Bharat.
