BOLLYWOOD DIRECTOR Mahesh Bhatt's son Rahul Bhatt is under the scanner of investigation officials for his alleged links with suspected Lashkar-e-Toiba operative David Coleman Headley, who is suspected to be setting up the stage for another major terror attack against India.

Headley was arrested by Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for planning to launch terror attacks against India and Denmark.

Rahul Bhatt reportedly told investigators that he had met him at a gymnasium and shared friendly terms with him. He also revealed that he had helped Headley in renting a flat near the Breach Kandy hospital. He however maintained that he had no knowledge of the nefarious activities in which Headley was engaged.

Meanwhile, the police has given a clean chit to Rahul Bhatt considering the fact that the LeT operative was using a very well disguised plan and had assumed a fake identity. Agencies had earlier presumed that the name Rahul could be code word for either Shah Rukh Khan or Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi.
