Major guidelines for fountain photography at night
The fountain photography at night is quite tricky and requires taking a lot of shots with varying aperture sizes and shutter speeds since the nature and situation of every fountain is different.
MANY FOUNTAINS and their water jets create a truly spectacular water streaks worth capturing in a camera. Digital cameras are okay for night fountain photography since one can examine the photo after taking it. This can help to hit at the proper aperture and shutter speed.

But, there are common guidelines to make a beginning for fountain photography. First, make sure that your camera is steady and for this use a tripod or find a steady perch for the camera.


Try aperture sizes from F4 to F8 as it can vary from fountain to fountain and amount of light available at night at the site.
Set the exposure levels before taking the first shot and incrementally change the exposure level to take a few shot and select the best for use. Since a fountain has an appreciable space, capture it in the camera from different angles.
