EACH AND EVERY manager in the Major League Baseball in the US is looking for players who they would want to sign for the season. The MLB player trade deadline, July 31, is approaching, and as usual, teams are hurrying up to sign those players who could make a difference in their team line up. It would surely be a very busy upcoming days for various team managers and their staff.
Some teams such as Boston Red Sox have already identified targets for the upcoming season, Hiroki Kuroda, a starting pitcher for Los Angeles Dodgers, is wanted by Red Sox so they have been keeping track of the player.
Another player from San Diego Padres, Heath Bell has always been a favourite for many a team but according to some media reports Philadelphia Phillies seems to be interested in the player. The Philadelphia Phillies has also been known around the MLB for their big spending on players.
Two teams from the MLB, Cleveland Indians and Pittsburgh Pirates are keen to get Chris Lannetta who is a catcher for the ColoradoRockies. It may happen that the Pirates may run away with the deal, if it satisfies both the teams. Apart from Chris Lannetta, the Pirates also seem to be interested in Colorado's Ty Wigginton.
