Ratan Singh Gupta, chairman of the college committee was the chief guest of the function and the key note speaker was the principle KL Gupta. The ceremony was attended by around 100 students of the MBA IV semester. The faculties associated with the distance learning also attended the function.
The ceremony started with the cake cutting ceremony of the valediction as well as the for the
New Year celebration. Students welcomed the chief guest with a shawl and momento. Principle KL Gupta was also presented with a momento from the students.
The programme started with the traditional Ganpati Vandana followed by a bhajan by advocate Amit Gupta. The highlights of the cultural programme were classical dance by Medha Dua on the popular old classic ‘Jaa re hat natkhat’, a humorous poetry of Atul Sharma on ‘Meri biwi kaisi ho’ and many more items. The anchors of the programme were Nalini Bahuguna and Dev Karan. The anchoring itself was a matter of appreciation. All the programmes were presented by the outgoing batch of MBA.
In his address, the chief guest appreciated the efforts of the students. He also acclaimed the performance by the students most of whom are working professionals and don’t have time for practice. Still their performance was a mastered one. He assures the students that whenever in life they need the help of the college or the management, the college will be with them. Principal KL Gupta also appreciated the students and their way of managing the function.
Students also honoured their favourite faculties which included Dr KL Kaushik, Dr Praveen Gupta, Manoj Shukla, KK Nagpal, Vineet Nagpal, Shilpa, Vandana, Shobhna and Niranjan. The faculties wished the students their best wishes.
Some of the participants of the programme were Medha Dua, Dev Karan, Sonu, Amit Gupta, Pankaj Bhardwaj and Atul Sharma. The backstage as well as the management of the programme was looked after by Neeraj Jain and Sanjay.
