Acclaimed Indo-American statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, said that after outstanding successes in the fields of medicine and engineering, Indo-Americans should also focus on gearing their children towards careers in politics and power. Zed, who is chairperson of Indo-American Leadership Confederation, pointed out that most Indo-Americans were well versed with nitisastra, covering political science and political ethics in all its practical aspects. Moreover, ancient Sanskrit scriptures like Atharva-veda, Aitareya Brahmana, Arthasastra of Kautilya, Santiparvan in Mahabharata, Barhaspatya Arthasastra, Nitisara, etc., had well educated them to make wise political decisions.
