What an unfortunate affair that's going on in our Indian politics. Earlier, the complete monsoon session went without completion of any parliamentary business, and now fresh dirty politics has erupted with the diesel price rise, LPG cylinders consumption per annum and FDI investment in multi-brand retail.
INDEED, ALL the parties have their own views on each subject but Bandh, etc., will never get any result and will instead damage the economy - returning it to the times of low growth and a population strangled by politics and politicians. None of the political parties is firm, and if I not mistaken at least we can say that Ms Mamata is the only political leader who stands by her principles and the promises she has made in the state elections in West Bengal.
FDI investment, rise in fuel prices, etc., were in her election manifesto and thus till date she kept her promise. How great she is! This is what she's called an Irony Lady like our Late Sardar Ballabah Bhai Patel, indeed most appreciated.
SP and BSP both fought against Congress in the UP assembly elections but have now joinined hands. SP supported Hon'ble Dr. Kalam’s candidature for the Presidentship but at the last movement backed out and betrayed Mamata. What a dirty game! A leader may belong to any political party but he or she must stand to his/her commitment, principle and the promises made.
