Mamata Banerjee questions BJP's election campaigns regarding their funding
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has asked PM Narendra Modi to reveal the source of funding of various election campaigns by BJP be it in Maharashtra, Jharkhand, J&K or the Haryana.

"You have to bring back the black money and you have to answer that where did you get lakhs and crores of money from? They have spent 1000 crores of rupees in Maharashtra election, how they are spending money lavishly in Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand for their party," said Mamata Banerjee, as reported by ANI.

Speaking on the Saradha scam, she said it was Trinamool Congress (TMC) government which busted the whole scam.

"Everybody is thief? We all are thieves? If it is so, then I am standing right in the street, not in front of anybody's office, we all are standing. Let them arrest us if they want to do so, how many people can they arrest? Let them prepare the false case against us."

On Monday addressing a function in North 24-Parganas district in West Bengal,  Chief Minister Banerjee said that she and her party could not be stopped from going ahead in carrying out development work. Earlier also she had slammed the ruling Central government while alleging it of disturbing peaceful environment in the state.
