You have raised right issue in your article. But it is very difficult to ban political parties for not strict to their poll manifestos. because they can show good and genuine excuse for not implementing. In era of coalition politics it is difficult to implement whole promises of a manifesto. For example, bjp promised to bring uniform civil code bill(Directive principle,art.42).bu t that time bjp`s allies was not ready to translate that directive principle into law. We (Voter)should also be conscious during voting. Indian voters is not so mature so as to vote any single largest party in complete majority. Fragmented majority can not bring good government which can implement its total promises. Our democracy is not so mature. It will take some time to be mature. Poverty, illiteracy ,these hurdle in way of democracy. We???ll have to remove these hurdle. Still our major voters do not participate in voting especially educated. Illiterate and poor do not vote but sell their vote. Some politicians and parties want that hunger is continue so that they can purchase their(hungry men) vote. Last lok Sabha election before voters there are many issues like terrorism, price rise, internal security, debacle by government on the front of foreign policy but we cud not change regime which was essential.
