According to the media reports, the 54 year old massage therapist was called to Gore's hotel Lucia in Portland Oregon to give a $540 in room massage. The woman alleged, she was called to the hotel about 10:30 pm on October 24, 2006, to provide a massage for Gore, inside his ninth-floor suite. The masseuse said, former vice president pushed her hand to his groin, fondled her buttocks and breasts and tongue-kissed her.

Earlier this month, Al and Tipper Gore announced that they were separating after forty years of marriage. According to the reports, Tipper Gore had long suspected her husband of seeing other women.

The woman who alleged the assault declined through her lawyer to be interviewed by police and did not want officers to pursue the matter. Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore's attorneys strongly denied the accusation, calling it "completely false." However, Kalee Kreider, Gore family spokeswoman told that the former VP has no comment regarding the allegations.
