May the Advent season bring joy, peace & blessings to all: Zed
Rajan Zed, the Hindu statesman and president of Universal Society of Hinduism in United States of America has expressed warmest greetings to the Christians on the Advent season this year.
HINDU STATESMAN and president of Universal Society of Hinduism in United States of America, Rajan Zed, expressed warmest greetings on the Advent season this year.

He stressed the need that all religions should work together for a just and peaceful world through continuous dialogue for sprititual enrichment.

Among Christians, Advent is the ecclesiastical season immediately before Christmas. This year it begins on November 28 and is observed by many Christians as a season of prayer, fasting and penitence.

The theme of readings and teachings during Advent is often to prepare for the Second Coming while commemorating the First Coming of Christ at Christmas. With the view of directing the thoughts of Christians to the first coming of Jesus Christ as savior and to his second coming as judge, special readings are prescribed for each of the four Sundays in Advent.

Hindus joined by Rajan Zed (Naveda, US) have sent good wishes to Christian communities world over for Advent season.
