It is failure of all alliances and political parties having ruled the country at one time or other that they as political rulers failed to legislate necessary legislations to prevent misuse of public money and government machinery.
IT IS for the first time that political analysts, commentators and journalists have justified opposition’s attack on Mayawati’s rally at Lucknow on Monday (March 15, 2010), to be hippocratic because of other political parties also accused of similar misuse of public-funds and government-machinery.
It is failure of all alliances and political parties having ruled the country at one time or other that they as political rulers failed to legislate necessary legislations to prevent misuse of public money and government machinery for selfish political and personal interests.
If Congress is so much disturbed by the spent of public-money for self-publicity through statues and photo-publicity, it should act now by taking in confidence other opponents of Bahujan Samaj Party (like Bharatiya Janata Party) to impose a total ban on such self-publicity through public-funds and government-projects. Likewise government-authorities like tax and intelligence officers have sufficient powers even in existing system to prevent such show of money by political rulers. Any further delay in such much-needed reforms will further strengthen Mayawati.
