MBA student commits suicide during video call with boyfriend
In a shocking incident, a student in Kompally, Hyderabad hung herself in her hostel room while on a video call with her boyfriend. The student has been identified as Haneesha Chowdary, who was 24-years-old. She was a resident of Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh) and was pursuing her Masters in Business Administration in Hyderabad.

As per reports, she was in a relationship with Dakshit Patil but was unable to handle the stress of the relationship. A minor argument broke out between the two and while she was on a video call with her boyfriend, she took the extreme step of taking her life by hanging herself. Haneesha was a second year MBA student at Siva Sivani College of Management.

Her boyfriend immediately rushed to the private hostel where Haneesha stayed and broke open the room and took her to the hospital where she was declared as brought dead. The incident happened on Saturday night. Patil immediately informed the girl's parents. The girl's body was sent to Gandhi Hospital where an autopsy was conducted and the body was later handed over to the girl's parents. The police have registered a complaint of suspicious death filed by the girl's parents and are investigating the matter. Her phone has been sent for forensic examination.

Cases of suicide among young students have been on the rise. While some times it is the stress of studies, at times it is the stress of a relationship, but such incidents should serve as a warning for us as a society.
