MCG commissioner unhappy with pace of developmental works

Ordering officials and contractors to complete the developmental projects in time, Municipal Commissioner of Gurgaon, Sudhir Rajpal surveyed various areas of the city falling under the jurisdiction of the corporation.

DURING HIS latest surprise visit to various municipal areas like Ghata village and Gwal Pahari, the MCG commissioner Sudhir Rajpal found some basic flaws in amenities like sanitation and sewage disposal, provided by the corporation to the residents.

Rajpal seemed unhappy with Joint Commissioner of Zone 3 after getting to know about the pace of survey work on the land bought recently by MCG. He ordered Joint Commissioner to complete the survey work in the given time limit with the help of some outsourcing agencies.

He also inspected a new drain built on Gurgaon-Faridabad road and found it filled with debris. The drain has been built near the construction site of Paras Builders, who are constructing their new commercial centre.

During inspection, the commissioner also found an empty plot filled with garbage in Ghata village near Firni and gave an immediate order to the local contractor to clear it as soon as possible. He also demanded proof of the work done by his officials in the form of their photographs.

While inspecting community centres in Ghata village and Gawala Pahari, he ordered chief engineer BS Singroha to renovate them. He also reviewed all development projects undertaken in the area and encouraged all officials and engineers to visit these areas and projects regularly.
