Meet 26-year-old Amir Hussain Lone: He is without arms, but, he made everything possible!
"Successful people strive no matter what they feel by applying their will to overcome apathy, doubt or fear," and Amir Hussain Lone did realise it and came up as a winner in true sense. He proves that disability is just a state of mind and nothing can stop you if your will power is strong enough.

Here, we bring you the very courageous story of Amir that will not only inspire you but will also make you respect this incredible son of India.

A very unfortunate incident took place years before at a mill that led an eight-year-old Amir Hussain Lone, lose his hands. He struggled in a hospital for 3 years as he was gradually recovering. Since, he became a handicap, people suggested his father to "get rid of him." But, in a major slap to such filthy mindset, Amir becomes the pride for his family.

As time passes, Amir not only learned to make his feet work more efficiently as his hands, he even learnt to swim and play cricket. Amir adopted his swimming style by imitating a duck.

Now a 26 year-old successful cricketer from south Kashmir's Bijbehara, Amir is the captain of Jammu and Kashmir's para cricket team. What Amir has achieved is no less than a miracle.

"After the accident, people told my father that I will become a burden on him. I thought, no, I will not let that happen and decided to fight," says Amir as reported in HT.

The very young Amir holds the bat between his chin and shoulder and then hits the ball. He is so active that he do not rely on any one to do even his basic things. He uses his toes to eat, write and shaves.

His father never thought he will be able to do these things without someone's help. But, to his surprise, he started doing everything by himself using his feet.

Miraculously, he ensures some amazing capacity to grasp things without his arms, feels his father, who supported him all through this and even sold his land for his treatment.

The general attitude of people towards the handicap that sadly still remains in the society made Amir even more determined to do exceptional things in life.

Amir had studied till college. And it was the time when a teacher found his cricketing talent . He introduced him to para cricket and continuous practice made him a team captain, eventually.

Already a celebrity for his friends and family, for Amir, things were never easy. He struggle and success is a real inspiration for millions.

However, Amir is not happy with the government which is not serious about the welfare of the disabled. Besides, he thinks it is also not concerned about the promotion of para cricket in the state where no coach guides. In fact, he is the one who leads the cricket team.

No doubt, that this man fought against convention to get where he is standing now. He is certainly inspirations to many other people who look up for those facing obstacles in their lives.

All this man's story teaches us is, if you want something badly, hard work is all it takes to achieve it. Salute and respect to Amir Hussain Lone!
