Mehooba Mufti said that the way Pakistani Premier has reciprocated gesture of his Indian counterpart is a clear indication that both the countries want to resume the highest level dialogue process which had been stalled since 2008.
PRESIDENT OF Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mehbooba Mufti has appreciated the decision of Pakistan Prime Minister Yosuf Raza Gilani to accept invitation of Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to watch the ICC World Cup semi final between the cricket teams of both the countries at Mohali on March 30. She termed this decision as a positive development for restoring lasting peace in the South Asia.
The maturity shown by leadership of both the countries is reflection of an assertion by the forces of the peace and reconciliation for normalizing relation between two neighbourers of South Asia, she added.
Mehooba Mufti reiterated that dialogue is the only way to solve all problems and peace between India and Pakistan is in the interest of the people of Jammu and Kashmir Hailing decision of the Government of India to grant multi-entry visas of six-month validity to people from the Pakistan Administered Kashmir (PAK) visiting Jammu and Kashmir, PDP chief demanded this facilities should not be confined only to the divided families.
