VANCOUVER 2010 is now approaching the climactic stages. The men’s curling semi-finals as well as the women’s semi-finals will take place today.
In the women’s semis, Sweden will face China, while in the other semis, Canada will meet rivals Switzerland. In the men’s semi final line-up are the teams of Norway, Sweden, Canada and Switzerland. Norway is pitted against Switzerland while Canada squares off against Sweden. Sweden just won the crucial round robin game against the Brits, and with the win, they secured berth in the semis.
All these four matches will be hard fought, and the spectator turnout is expected to be big. The matches will be telecast live on NBC and ESPN, among other TV channels.
The curling semi finals will start in the morning with the women’s matches, and later on in the afternoon, the men’s curling semi finals will commence.
