Metro cities and development
Every year we celebrate Independence Day with great honour and pride as a mark of Indian freedom. India is a country with various cast and creed and diverse cultures, but still every Indian has a dream of free India as per one's expectations.
EVERY YEAR on Independence Day we celebrate the occasion as freedom day. No doubt our nation has a vast area having various cast and creed with different languages and cultures, but still every citizen has a dream of free India as per one's expectations. I dream for India and particularly metro cities free from following:
  • Traffic jams;
  • Stray animals;
  • Electric power cuts;
  • Arbitrary fee hikes by public schools;
  • Drinking water shortage;
  • Depletion of ground water level;
  • Poor water discharge system;
  • Slums;
  • Potholes and open manholes;
  • Inadequate local transport;
  • Improper system of voter registration;
  • Unorganised weaker sector;
  • Absence of garbage disposal process;
  • Mushrooming alcohol outlets;
  • Cigarette smoking in public places;
  • Fatal accidents on expressway/peripheral  corridor;
  • Unauthorised mining activities.
  • Besides freedom from above, I would like to have following facilities too:
    • Library with rich stocks;
    • Recreation home for senior citizen;
    • Data bank for senior citizen for utilisation of their skills;
    • Theme park with modern facilities;
    • Cultural hub with adequate Haryanvi coverage;
    • Passport office;
    • Water treatment plant;
    • Garbage disposal system;
    • Government hospital/s with facilities matching private hospitals;
    • Modern crematorium;
    • Art gallery;
    • Involvement of RWAs and NGOs in developmental plans of the city;
    • House for stray animals;
    • Orphanage house;
    • Schools for street hawkers and children from weaker strata of society.
