The Physcial efficiency test (PET) for the posts of secuity guards will be held in the first week of December at the Mahatma Gandhi University ground, Kottayam.
It is likely that the PET will start from December 1 and end on December 3. The list of the eligible candidates for the PET have been placed on the University's website. The candidates who have applied for the posts can check the list on the site.
The hall tickets will be delivered to the candidates and the candidates who don't receive the Hall tickets by November 24, should get in touch with the Ad. A IV section in the University Administrative Block, Priyadarshini Hills, Kottayam in person before November 28.
A latest medical certificate containing fitness certification, including eyes, eye vision, colour vision, muscles, joints, cns, should be brought by the candidates from a medical officer who must be the rank of a civl surgeon.
Candidates will only be admitted if they produce the identification certificate, duly attested by the Gazetted Officer. The candidates should affix recent passport size photograph along with name, address, roll number and other particulars in the indentification certificate overleaf.Without the certificate, candidates would not be allowed to give the test..

Candidates, eligible for the reservation under the community quota except SC/ST candidates are directed to produce attested copy of the non creamy layer certificate issued at the time of physical test by the village officer.
Importanat instructions:
Candidates should be wearing Shorts, T shirts and PT shoes at the time of the Physical test which includes 2.4 km run and push ups. The candidates also have to sign an undertaking that they are solely rsponsible for any injury and the University is not responsible.

Candidates should report 30 minutes prior to the commencemnet of the test. Only those who pass minimum physical standards will be called for a personal interview. The identification certificate should be handed over to the officer in charge at the time of the best by the candidates.
Originals of discharge certificates and other certificates which claims priority in selection shall be produced at the time of PET. No TA/DA wll be paid to th candidates for attending the PET.
