Cameron Douglas, the son of the Oscar winning actor had been caught in the act in July 2009 at a Manhattan hotel. Though he had been originally put under house arrest, he was jailed after his girlfriend had allegedly tried to smuggle him some cocaine

ACTING LEGEND Michael Douglas' son has pleaded guilty to charges of trafficking drugs on Wednesday. Cameron Douglas, who was arrested in July 2009 has agreed that he was trafficking large quantities of methamphetamine and cocaine in a Manhattan Federal court.

Cameron Douglas, the son of the Oscar winning actor had been caught in the act in July 2009 at a Manhattan hotel. Though he had been originally put under house arrest, he was put in jail after his girlfriend had allegedly tried to smuggle him some concaine, concealed in an electric toothbrush.

The actor's son faces a minimum of ten years in prison for the offence.

.i'm sick and tired of all these spoiled rich people not having the brains to take advantage of the position there in and producing good works, or at the very least keeping out of trouble. they should try having a family counting on them and through no fault of there own loosing their jobs and their homes. throw the BUMS in jail for 10 years and let them get gang raped and lets see how they like that.----they probably will come to think about it.

.Very sad for his loving family. I'm sure he didn't do it for the money as he comes from a priviledged Hollywood and Connecticut famous family. He's paying a big price for this mistake.
