Michael Jackson was murdered for money: LaToya Jackson
While Michael Jackson's fans are mourning his death and paying tribute to the king of pop worldwide, his sister LaToya Jackson made a startling revelation on the eve of his first death anniversary. She said that he was killed for monetary gains.
WHILE MICHAEL Jackson’s fans are mourning his death and paying tribute to the king of pop worldwide, his sister LaToya Jackson made a startling revelation on the eve of his first death anniversary. She said that her brother did not die because of an accident, but was killed for monetary gains.

LaToya Jackson alleged her brother Michael was murdered because he was ‘worth so much more dead than alive’.

"You must remember from the day that I found out Michael was no longer with us, when my mother screamed 'he's dead' over the phone, I just went into this, 'who did it?"'

She said, "He was murdered for his catalogue and they knew that."

"Personally I think it is a slap in the face, not just to Michael but to the entire family. It is totally unfair, it is wrong and it was not an accident,” she said during an interview.

Billboard musical trade magazine reported that the collection through selling of his album since the star's death had earned the Jackson estate one billion dollar (£677 million).

Just after six weeks of his death no fewer than six Jackson albums were in the top 20 at one stage. Internationally, 24 million albums of Michael Jackson were sold.

The figure made him the highest earning musician after death.
