Michael Jackson's show house full again
It is the trial of the century and everyone wants justice to prevail. However, the case is not that simple and there is certainly no black or white in this case. Only time will tell what is going to happen.

MORE THAN two years have passed after the death of Pop King Michael Jackson on June 25 2009, and the trial for the sensational trial began with strong evidence against Michael Jackson's personal doctor, Conrad Murray. He is charged with gross negligence, medical abandonment and repeated incompetence, while he is pleading not guilty. The prosecutor displayed some hard hitting photographs and audio clips of Michael that would be unforgettable by jury members.

The prosecutor David Walgren showed two pictures of Jackson from June 24 and June 25 2009. What can go against the doctor was displayed in the photo in which, on June 24, Michael was all hearty and rehearsing, and on June 25, his corpse was seen with tubes in his nose and looking frail. David questioned as to what happened that might have taken a healthy body to die within 12 hours.

While Michael Jackson’s family outrightly calls Conrad Murray the murderer of Michael - with the prosecution stressing the point of administrating the propofol to be a bad call as this is the precise reason what led Michael to his last hours. As discovered in the autopsy a large amount of Propofol was present in the stomach of the pop king which caused immense negative harm to his body and before he could realise he was gone. Supporting this was an audio clip where Michael was under the influence of the drug, and he was slurring a great deal. The audio clip was retrieved from Conrad Murray’s phone and hence the prosecution made the point that the doctor knew the adverse effect of the drug that had on Jackson and yet Murray gave him that on the day of his death.

The doctor also did not call 911 or anyone for 24 minutes after Michael Jackson’s body was discovered. Prosecutors say that Murray made a number of phone calls between 10:20 and 11:51am the morning of Jackson's death. He is believed to have discovered the star unconscious at about 11.56 am but he did not tell anyone to call 911 until 12.20pm. This lack of communication is hard hitting evidence from which the jury cannot turn their attention.

The lawyer defending Michael Jackson also said that initially Conrad Murray asked for $5 million deal to be a constant presence but later when Michael offered $150,000 he agreed. Money always creates trouble and this time too it might just be the nail to Dr. Conrad’s coffin. The fact that Murray also concealed the fact that he gave a small dose of propofol to the pop star on the day of his death also goes against him.

The defence lawyer could not make such strong opening statements but he stressed the point that Murray and Jackson were first friends and then professionals. The point was drawn home with tears from Murray. The defence lawyer, Ed Chernoff also said that Michael Jackson did not die because of the dose administered by Murray but because Murray refused to give the drug to Jackson leading him to drink the drug, the residue of which was found in the stomach of the Michael.

Among the people who testified against the doctor was AEG Live's Co-CEO Paul Gongaware who was looking after the last concert of Jacko. That Gongaware was not happy with Michael Jackson’s choice of doctor was evident from his words, “I didn't know Dr Murray at all - and we were going to London. My preference would have been to hire someone who was licensed there. Who knew what was going on.”

First witness, choreographer Kenny Ortega also testified against the doctor by saying that he has warned that Michael was not well emotionally and physically to which Conrad Murray said that he was the doctor and he knew better. Inspite of the evidences there are Paris Jackson, Michael’s daughter who wants to testify. This could give a new turn to the trail as it is known that the children were especially attached to the doctor.

Almost the entire globe is watching ‘the trail of the century.’ People are going mad over it as fans of Jackson wants to see handcuffs on Conrad Murray’s hands while there are people who believe that the doctor is a victim of the circumstances. Prediction of the results are not possible as the trail has a long way to go but in former cases of the similar nature it has been noticed that the doctors are left not charged and if Casey Anthony can go scot free then there is hope for Conrad Murray for sure.
