Michelle Obama's dance moves go viral on YouTube

India's First Lady grooving to some hip hop music or even dancing serenely to Rabindra sangeet is unfathomable. She would be highly criticized even if she tries any such antics for a cause just like her US counterpart Michelle Obama did for her youth campaign called 'Let's Move'. While she showed that the First Lady can indeed dance well, the message behind the whole exercise, which is called 'The Evolution of Mom Dancing' is that mothers can dance with their kids so that obesity is not a concern.

The video that has got more than 95 lakh views and many likes also has the host of 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,' do the grooves with First Lady. Initially Fallon is unrecognisable as a lady with brown long hair, slacks and cardigans. Michelle Obama is also conservatively dressed as the conventional regular American mom in slacks and cardigan. They have named the dance moves such as The Go Shopping, Get Groceries, and The Out of Sync Electric Slide, according to titles splashed on the bottom of the screen.

In the interview that followed this video, Michelle Obama was asked to rate the president on his dance moves and the President got a not-so-good 'B'. Mrs. Obama said, “He's got, like, three good moves.”

Talking about her campaign, she said that people have started acknowledging the fact that obesity is an issue and that something should be done about it. It is a major health concern in America as one in three adults and one in five children is obese, reported Hindustan Times.

After the video went online on Saturday last, Twitter too went crazy as people started tweeting about Michelle Obama's dance moves. A tweeple wrote, “This is hysterical. I just love Michelle Obama (Evolution Of Mom Dancing),” Another tweeted, “Michelle teaches you how to dougie, haha.”
