VEHICLE THEFT is of high concern for its owner. But, the issue has been solved by Micro Technologies India Limited. It has developed an anti-theft security device called micro VBB navigator, which is a GSM-based anti-theft security and navigation system. This technology also helps in tracking the stolen cars. This rectangular security device can be attached into any part of the vehicle and the car can be accessed from anywhere across the globe through web interface system.

The device uses the technology to alert a user’s mobile phone through an SMS, in case of illegal access to the car. VBB is also enhanced with other external peripherals and sensors, connected within the vehicle’s system, controlling it.

The device also controls ignition and door movements. The alert message can also be set up simultaneously to two users but the control device will be restricted to the owner only.

The GPS device is installed with a sensor for monitoring the locality of the vehicle. The device is also equipped with other features. The car can be locked and unlocked through a SMS; one can even check system status globally via the SMS and it also offers a two-way voice communication, SOS message, and car audio SIM removal alert. The device also takes care in case of GPRS network failure and other technical issues.
