Micromax Q7 Review, Price and Features
Micro max has made an effort to challenge brilliant smart phones of Nokia E series and Blackberry, but comes nowhere near. In spite of this fact, it is a good choice for just 5000 Rupees.
Micromax is out with yet another QWERTY phone Q7 in continuation of its ezpad series, after a huge success of earlier models viz, the Q3 and the Q5. Micromax has made an effort to challenge brilliant smart phones of Nokia E series and Blackberry, but comes nowhere near. In spite of this fact, it is a good choice for just Rs. 5000.

Micromax should not be compared with Nokia or Blackberry because it’s far cheaper than those phones. Well, at this price anything looks good. It is available in two colors, black and silver. It has a Wi-Fi (A first for Micromax ezpad) and is preloaded with facebook, opera mini and nimbuzz messenger. And as its other phones, it is also a dual sim phone with a 2 Megapixel camera, which is of no great quality.

Micromax has provided a standard 3.5mm jack which is a sweet surprise for music lovers. It supports mp3, amr, midi, wav formats. And overall,it is found that  the sound quality is okay and the video quality is acceptable, not as good as per your expectations.

Q7 is slightly thicker than Nokia E71. The back of the phone has a camera on top and a speaker adjacent to it. Compared to the Micromax Q5 the Q7 is much smaller in size and does away with the curves + metal that the Q5 carries. It has an internal memory of 78MB and it has a memory slot expandable upto 4GB.

Though, it’s nowhere close to the Nokia E series or Blacknberry but its better than the Videocon V1675 and Samsung Corby txt.

Micromax Q7 Features:

Dual Sim support
Wi-Fi Enabled
Music Player powered by Yamaha
2 MP Cameras
QWERTY with Trackball Navigation
Memory expandable upto 4 GB
Facebook, Nimbuzz, Multi Instant Messenger
Preloaded Opera Mini Browser

Overall we can say that Micromax Q7 ezpad is an entry level phone with QWERTY keypad. But its previous phone Q5 which lacks with Wi-Fi feature is somewhat better than Q7. This thing does a good job at looking professional and at the same time not costing you a a lot. However a good budget phone if you just want the looks of a QWERTY and somewhat reliable quality.

I purchased a Q7 on 02.06.2010 & within three months I am facing the a problem. the phone started to getting switched off abruptly & would not power on. If indeed it powered ON would work for say only few mins & damn go OFF again there is more than one month my phone is dead. Their service centers are not able to fix this. I write to customer care a lots of times but they never responds to emails. So it's my personal advice to all of you Pl dont waste ur money on this damn phone??????no one should buy MMX phones??????
