WORLDWIDE LEADER in software, Microsoft visited Lovely Professional University to host its internationally registered event ‘Microsoft Community Tech Days’. Such ‘Tech Days’ are to provide IT oriented students a rare opportunity to dive deep into the latest Microsoft Products and Technologies.
It was powered by ‘Kryptorhythm’- a Microsoft Student Club and Microsoft Student Partners, New Delhi. Renowned Microsoft Valuable Professionals (MVPS), Mukeet Khan and Jayant Jindal, were specially present on the occasion. They had various sessions on new Microsoft Technologies and Technology opportunities on two consecutive days, for the benefit of the students. About 1050 students participated in the event. Khan presented Introduction to Operating System and Web-Server. Whereas, Jindal explained in details about Dot Net Framework and System Architecture. Also one of the five Microsoft Student Partners (MSPs), from Delhi, Rajeev Bhatia, who is an established MSP, told about Microsoft Initiatives for students. He informed about Photosynth, Robotics and Cloud Computing. In fact, through many programmes, partnerships; Microsoft provides training, tools and support to numerous projects, organizations and people by creating social and economic opportunities in transforming communities around the world.
On this occasion, the Chancellor of LPU, Ashok Mittal said: “By bringing the giant company like Microsoft at the campus, it is an effort of the University to get our students exposed to the latest trends and techniques prevalent globally.
