Microsoft's Zune Phone to be launched with Windows Mobile 7
Microsoft's Zune phone which is also known as Pink phone is expected to be launched very soon. Microsoft Zune mobile phone could feature 720p HD video playing capabilities in addition to a 5 mega pixel camera.
MICROSOFT'S ZUNE phone, which is also known as the Pink phone is expected to be launched very soon. Microsoft Zune phone is likely to be powered with Windows Mobile 7 platform. Microsoft Zune mobile could feature 720p HD video playing capabilities in addition to a decent 5 mega pixel camera. The phone will also have gaming and multimedia functions.
It is expected that the new Microsoft Zune smart phone will debut at either at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to be held from February 15-18th or at the CTIA conference in Las Vegas in March. According to the Jefferies and Company analyst Katherine Egbert "Pink would be the 'third screen' (after Windows and Xbox) and the final component of Microsoft's 3 screens and a cloud strategy."
It is speculated that the Windows Mobile 7 will include premium mobile services including a Zune video store and music subscription and purchasing services and a 5MP camera with HD video recording. The interface will "likely be similar" to the ZuneHD UI, "and could include social networking apps like Xbox Live, Facebook and Twitter." It is also speculated that two versions of Windows Mobile 7 - the Business Edition and the Media Edition will be launched.
